Greetings from Pennyfield Lock

Saturday was a lovely if chilly day. We did a bunch of chores, ate sandwiches, and went to Pennyfield Lock, which was one of the first places we went hiking when the pandemic started -- I remember holding my breath when people walked by, it was before anyone could find masks easily -- and though we did not see the heron today whom we saw that day, we did see a muskrat in the Potomac River, which more than made up for that.

Paul made pasta e fagiole with fake chicken for dinner. Then we watched the entirety of the second season of Space Force, which is very funny and mostly enjoyable -- John Malkovich is enjoying himself an awful lot -- though I wished there was more Jane Lynch. We talked late to the kids since Daniel finished clearing out his apartment today, which I will miss visiting in Belltown, and now he needs house furniture!
