Greetings from the Grotto

My Friday morning and a bunch of the afternoon involved rearranging shelves so I could bring all the boxes of photos and remaining albums on the shelves in the kitchen down the basement, then organizing the magazines and stuff piled on the bookcase so the kitchen looks somewhat neater, though we will always have more clutter than clean lines. It was a nice chilly afternoon, perfect for soup for lunch and a walk to see the remaining Halloween decorations and busy chipmunks stocking up for the winter. 

We had dinner with my parents and came home thinking we were going to watch Red Notice, but that's in theaters today, not on Netflix yet. So instead, because we were in the mood, we watched Black Widow again -- I am never going to get tired of that, and Disney owes Scarlett -- then we watched Judi Dench and Salma Hayek on Graham Norton. These photos of Virgin Marys from the Emmitsburg Grotto of Lourdes are from only a couple of weeks ago, but we have so much more color in the leaves now:
