Greetings from Ta Lo

I was up very late Thursday down the basement to make sure I didn't have books in the giveaway boxes that we wanted to save, and I woke up early Friday to make sure some toys that hadn't been in the giveaway bags made it onto the porch, so I am very tired. The good news is that we're out another six boxes of old magazines to another teacher and lots of random things from a VHS rack to sports equipment to mugs to plastic race cars to VVA. The big Star Trek stuff is being picked up tomorrow, and the rest of the fan stuff being shipped to Texas is all packed for FedEx on Monday.

It was otherwise a quiet day apart from listening to Red (Taylor's Version), with a cool afternoon walk after the morning rain disappeared. We had dinner with my parents and we just finished watching Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, which I really enjoyed; okay, I'm tired of Marvel's dead mothers-failed fathers, and it borrowed a bunch from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, but I liked the women, I loved the cameos (glad I did not know about several), and I enjoyed the aesthetic (I know so many Asian animal myths now from Pokemon). Speaking of animals, these live at Cox Farms:
